What We Do!

The Kansas Veterans Project Inc (KVP Inc) provides items to Military Veterans to assist them in their transition from homeless to living in housing provided by the HUD-VASH program. Veterans must be honorably discharged, be enrolled in the VA healthcare system and meet the government’s definition of homeless.

Since June 2018, we have provided new beds and bedding, bedroom furniture, living room furniture, kitchen tables and chairs, new cookware, dishes, tableware and personal care items to veterans when they moved into their housing in Salina.

It is our honor to serve these veterans and their families.

How We Do It

The Kansas Veterans Project purchases new mattresses and new bedding, and provides kitchen wares, cookware, dishes, tableware, new and /or gently used furniture and personal care items to help improve the veteran’s  daily life.

Kansas Veterans Project will provide a gift card to veterans as needed when they move into housing in addition to the household items that we now provide. This will allow the veterans to stock their pantry and will help provide stability as they begin their new life.
